Sparkly, joyful and frenetic London at Xmas. Frosty weather adds to the Christmas buzz as the masses rush around in big colourful scarves and matching hats. The exit out of the tube at Oxford Circus overwhelms with twinkly lights all around and festive music. London's west end has put it's party dress on again and doesn't she look great! First stop are the stunning Liberty store windows with a Nutcraker ballet theme; then a dash towards Bond Street and the wonderfully intimate department store called Fenwick and finally the jazzy windows of Selfridges. Big brash Oxford Street is awash with beggars, buskers and a world of people. WONDERFUL! A quick stop at Victoria's Secret in Bond Street to buy frilly bits and it's time to disappear to a little wonderland of pretty boutiques, bars and cafes in Marylebone Hight Street. This street truly is dreamy shopping in London! First stop is Designers Guild and Skandium for home inspiration for 2017 then onto The White company for the best winter candles and J Crew for a party dress. A skip further down is Cologne and Cotton for pyjamas and La Fromagerie for some stilton. Finally Kusmi Tea for an after xmas DETOX tea and Space NK for any help I can get on the skincare front (my choice is Caudelie)
The cold finally brings me in search of a hot chocolate to my favourite spot whether it's breakfast or lunch which is Pain Quotidien. Oh how I love it here! It reminds me of all things French and my year living in Provence. (www.mydreamyprovence.com). On the way back to the tube I take a turn off the street to gaze at The Jane Packer flower store.... Stunning!
